The subject of Arnold Schwarzenegger bores me. I wrote ceaseless columns on this site warning Republicans and conservatives that he would govern as a liberal and operate as a Trojan Horse for the Dems. The so-called golf tax is, as the Southern California Professional Golf Association put it on a recent release, "not quite dead yet."
The proposed tax on golf play and services wasn't a part of the budget passed in April, but supporters of the game are gearing up to fight it again now that the California Golf Tax Commission appears to be re-examining the idea.
